The second instalment of 'Spek en Boontjies' as we talk to award winning film maker, Nadine Cloete on her latest film about District 6 'Address Unknown.'

Nadine Angel Cloete is a filmmaker based in South Africa. She is passionate about themes of heritage and identity. Her first feature documentary called Action Kommandant about the life of liberation hero Ashley Kriel was released to global critical acclaim. Nadine directed the first short fiction film about District Six called Address Unknown. This film recently won the Audience Choice Award at the Durban International Film Festival. Nadine's short documentary called In Conversation had its US Premiere at the Social Justice Film Festival, Seattle. Nadine worked as part of the organizing committee of the Queer Feminist Film Festival in 2019 and takes on a mentoring role for young filmmakers creating content for the festival in 2020.
